I want to hold your hand. What does a Beatles tune have to do with kitchen and bath design? It reflects what I do as your personal kitchen and bath design consultant. With 30 years of experience, I can make sense out of the remodeling process for you. Chances are you've been leafing through magazines, talking to friends who have done remodeling. You may have visited a few showrooms, interviewed a few contractors. The process can be daunting and often leaves homeowners utterly confused. That's where I can help you.
I started my career as a cabinet maker, became a kitchen dealer, then on to own a large design/build firm, winning awards throughout New England. I've worked my whole career to build teams and grow companies. Now, I've decided to return to what I'm passionate about...helping homeowners pull together the pieces that make their project happen. I'll help you design the space, creating the plans myself. I'll guide you through selection of cabinetry, countertops, appliances, plumbing fixtures and lighting to ensure that you get the room you imagine. I will work with you to make those choices and understand the trade-offs that affect the look, function and cost of your project. If you need a contractor, I'll help you select one. If you have one, I'll communicate with him or her to see that products arrive on time. A project like this is an investment, no matter what budget you establish. You want to make sure that money is spent wisely and the result is what you expect.
I work with homeowners in the Merrimack Valley and coastal Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine. Every job is different. Yours won't look exactly like anything you see on this site, but my work link will show the quality and aesthetic of my work. It's not about size or opulence, but quality, value and getting what you want. If you're contemplating a project that includes built-in cabinetry...a kitchen, bath, home office, dressing area or entertainment center...I'm sure I can help you.
Shoot me an email or give me a call. It all starts with a conversation. I'd love to talk to you.
Be Well,
Peter Lawton, CKD
